Aarat P. Kalra

Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Princeton University, New Jersey, USA

I am a scientist in the Scholes lab working on biological nanowires. Presently, I am working to understand how microtubules can be used to process electromagnetic information.

My first goal is to repurpose biological nanowires as electromagnetic devices, aiming to develop new nanotechnology.

My second goal is to examine how electromagnetic stimuli can influence intracellular biochemistry (and vice versa).

Research along these lines will advance a wide range of disciplines, ranging from medicine to materials science and nanotechnology.
